Reviews
My recent dining experience at Asian Noodle House in Dickson left me with mixed feelings about the overall visit. While the food was passable, the service and attention to detail fell short of expectations, resulting in a rather disappointing outing.
Starting with the positives, the menu offered a decent selection of Asian noodle dishes. Although the flavors were just okay and didn't quite stand out, they provided a satisfying meal for our group. However, it was the service that left a significant dent in the overall experience.
One particular instance was the coconut juice we ordered. To our dismay, it had an off-putting chemical taste that was impossible to ignore. We brought this to the attention of the staff, hoping for a swift resolution. Regrettably, it took the intervention of the owner or manager after we expressed our dissatisfaction for any action to be taken. While the explanation regarding a supplier change was provided, it's crucial to note that the taste of a beverage shouldn't be compromised by such changes. Customer experience should be the priority, regardless of supplier modifications.
Furthermore, the beef crispy noodle dish had an unexpected sour note that left us questioning its intended flavor profile. This inconsistency raised doubts about the quality control in the kitchen, affecting our overall perception of the establishment.
In conclusion, while Asian Noodle House in Dickson has the potential to offer a satisfying meal, the lack of professionalism in addressing customer concerns and the inconsistencies in flavor left a negative impression. It's my hope that the management will take these feedback points into serious consideration to elevate the dining experience for future patrons. As it stands, I left the restaurant with a sense of disappointment that overshadowed the positives.
Omg, this is my second time in here and it was just super yummy!!
Even tough the restaurant was really busy and no much staff on. The food came very quickly and was absolutely amazing. Price / portion is also very good and worth it.
We will obviously come back and get laksa again! ๐๐
They should not call it Asian Noodle House because nothing in here can represent Asia delicious food.
They try to sell too many Asia dishes (Malay Thai, Lao...) but none of they taste good. Your money will be well spent elsewhere.
Very disappointed in paying $$ expensive such bad food.
As a big Laksa fan from Melbourne, I believe this place serves one of the better laksas in Canberra. I've been there a few times and although the taste has not been consistent, the laksa here is my favourite in town. I've also tried their pad ke mow and it was also surprisingly good.
This place is relentlessly impressing! The prices are an absolute steal for the quality and quantity of food that you get. The fried rice had so much meat and the laksa was rich and creamy. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and our food was prepared very quickly. A must visit if you're in Canberra and want to try authentic Asian cuisine, we will be coming again!
Had laksa tonight and their fried rice. Great for when you donโt feel like cooking. Laksa very flavourful with the broth, yellow hokkien noodles were dull and only a small amount. The rice was delicious. I remember as a kid the same flavour of laksa 20+ years
Happy days
Wonderful little restaurant with a variety of south east Asian foods. After living and travelling in the region for the last decade, can say this place is legit.
Service is prompt and quite a busy place, great vibes.
Visited the restaurant as we stayed overnight in Canberra. Had the combination laksa and the portion was huge with lots of ingredients (Roasted duck, char siew, chicken, bean sprouts, chye sim and tau fu puff). Also had the special fried rice that came with 3 big prawns. Price was reasonable given the portion. Laksa was fantastic just a bit salty for my taste bud. Owner was kind to let us have a four seater table near the window so that we can monitor our little buddy doggy (while he was outside the restaurant waiting patiently for us to take our dinner)
Highly recommended if you are nearby.
